So I just thought of something I want to start doing on here. I won't say it will happen daily because, let's get real, it won't. But I'm going try to write at least one "joy" I notice a day or maybe that week or something... things that make you sit back and think "Yep, it's worth it!" I tend to get stuck in the feeling of all I do is laundry and cleaning up messes {I most definitely did NOT make:)} and changing diapers and so on that I forget to sit back and enjoy the little things. So here's to the little things in life!
Today's Joy:
While driving home from Grandma Swensen's (she was tending the kids while we were at one of Nate's doctor appointments) the kids had seen a few "slug bugs". We got down the road further with no talk of them for quite a while when all of a sudden Haley blurts out, "I see it! Slug bug white!" There was no slug bug, but how cute is it that she's catching on to the game... sorta?!

That's a great idea Jilleen. I have kept a gratitude journal a couple times in my life. It is so good to force yourself to find the good in life, especially when times are hard. I read your care pages update today, or yesterday maybe, anyway, you are aMAZing. Seriously, you are my inspiration. I can't believe all that Nate is dealing with. And we thought the time in the hospital was bad!! Good luck getting through it all. We're praying for you.
