On New Year's Eve we went to Nate's parents house for a rockin' party. Nate's sister, Julie planned it all and she did an awesome job. {Thanks Julie!} We started out with fondue... who doesn't love fried and chocolate covered food???! Then games, games and more games. We had so much fun. The pictures of Nate trying to do the splits and Kim's face-pulling skills were just byproducts of a game of fierce competition!! Although, my team lost in the end, we still pulled off some extreme skills! Paper Bag Ballet was interesting. Some of the guys (not my guy, though) were the winners. The object: to pick up the paper bag with your mouth balancing on one foot. With each success the bag gets cut and you have to go lower. That game takes some serious balance, flexibility and strength from muscles you never knew existed! The donut eating contest was a nice excuse for Nate to get in some PDA... I'll spare you the graphic details... we lost, if you were wondering. Hmmm, I wonder why??? All the while, the kids were downstairs running around playing, watching movies and doing projects. Each of our kids stayed awake until mid-night, even Haley. She was so tired, but just wouldn't go to sleep. I don't blame her. We were having a great time!

Holy crap, that looks like such a fun party! Too bad our families are too big to actually do things with EACH OTHER. :) Maybe that's how you guys like it though...
Jilleen, I think it's safe to say that a massive retaliation is in the works for posting that picture!!! Just a heads up!
I told you that you would beat me to the punch on this party. I still have one more post before this one! Ahhh. Anyway, I am glad you had fun because I did too. Don't worry, I plan to post that picture of Kim as well on my blog. We can stand up to her together :)
What a fun Christmas and New Year's. I love...love games. And it is always nice when the kids sleep in on Christmas Day. Happy New Year!
looks like a blast!
Any husband would take a great opportunity for PDA when donuts and their wife are only centimeters away...ha ha.
I love the goofy pics, LOVE IT, it made me giggle.
In my defense, my wife is SUPER HOT!
Nate
Whatever! That's a lie.
Jilleen, I didn't know you had a blog. Very cute! That IS a rockin' party. For our New Years' party, we just ate a lot of food and watched the parties on TV. Hmmm... maybe next year I'll have to invite you!
