Rachel survived her first day of 1st grade today!! Yahoo! She just gave me a hug and kiss and went off to her class. It was such a relief that she was so brave. Lately she's been clingy and refusing to play with friends so I thought today would end up being a crazy day, but it was great. I got a little teary eyed walking away from the school... It's hard letting your children go off into the real world. When I picked her up at school she said, "Ohhh, that was long!" I informed her that today was "early out" and tomorrow will be an hour longer. She groaned a little, but said she had a really fun day. Yes!! That's what I like to hear!

1st Grade

First grade is such an adjustment. I am glad she went well for you, even though it was a long day, she had fun. What a cute girl!

That is so funny. Too bad you had to tell her it would be longer still. I am sure she will get used to it. She is adorable.
Glad she had a fun first day. I have spied on Cassidy at recess the past two days. These kids still seem too little to be at school all day.
I cried too and i have the same feelings about them going into the real world.

She looks so cute, I love her smile. She is growing up fast. Brayden starts tomorrow and I have found a few tears in my eyes today just thinking about it. I think I am going to be a wreck.
