I'm not very political. Not to say I don't have my opinions of politicians and today's issues, but I choose to not give that sort of stuff too much of my energy. It can drive one insane, I believe. So this year we had the republican nominee, Mitt Romney (a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a.k.a. Mormon), running against our current president of the United States, Barack Obama.
It was a close race. It was ugly at times. Nate and I voted early.
Sadly, Mitt Romney lost. He lost the electoral vote by landslide, but if you look at popular vote it was almost 50/50... almost.
Almost doesn't cut it, though. So we go forward with another 4 years of a president I don't care for... to put it nicely.
