Tye and Kaden with Rebekah {Samuel's sister}
Nate, Kaden and Tye went to the annual United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation Energy for Life Walk-a-thon in Salt Lake City on their way home from their fathers and sons camp out. (I had to stay home with a sick Eliza.) My nephew, Samuel, died of complications of a form mitochondrial disease, as well as my cousin's teenage daughter. My niece, Cassidy, suffers from the same disease and other cousins suffer as well. It is a scary fact to face, but my they all face it with grace, unbelievable strength and faith. They are amazing! Poor Eliza woke up with a fever then put herself back to bed with her princess dollies. She really must not have felt well at all. Glad I didn't drag her out to the walk-a-thon, but I was sad to miss supporting my family.
