Our kids were sad we couldn't go on some fancy trip for spring break so we made sure we planned something to do each day close to home that they would consider fun. Nate had the week off (besides some local repair jobs). We thought it would be so convenient to have the baby that week.... no such luck. So for plan B we ended up fishing, playing at a park with cousins, going to the movies, going to Yogurt Bliss (a favorite of our kids), going to work with dad, swimming and lots of playing! The only thing we caught fishing was a weird seed ball thing from a tree or something (pictured above with Kaden), but the kids eventually found their way into the water and had a great time splashing around. The weather was awesome the first few days then the storms came, but it all worked out great.
