Pioneer Day Fireworks & Ice Cream

Our nextdoor neighbors hosted a neighborhood Pioneer Day fireworks and ice cream party.  Apparently it's something that has been going on for a few years, but it's usually hosted by a different neighbor.  We've never heard of it or been invited, as far as we know. We aren't offended.  We just thought it was funny.  Everyone brings ice cream (homemade or store bought) and fireworks to share.  Fireworks go non-stop.  I think my kids ate enough ice cream to last them a year!  We have great neighbors and were glad to celebrate with them.
