Last week I tried to be a fun mom and make cinnamon rolls. The kids ran and got their Home Depot aprons on and we had a great time measuring, pouring, blending, rolling, cutting and baking. It was all smiles until the very end when we were cleaning up. Rachel decided she didn't get to taste as much of the dough as Kaden did. It wasn't fair according to her. I tried to convince her that bread dough isn't yummy to just eat. She still thinks differently. I tried to take a picture of her meltdown, but all I got was a covered face and a lot of tears. Hopefully they'll remember the fun we had.

Cinnamon Rolls

What a fun mom. You take them to the Zoo, bake with them. I need some fun ideas to do with Brinley. Any suggestions?

They will remember! Remember mom spanking the bread dough because she didn't have an electric mixer to do dough when we were little. You involved them and I think that is great. I am learning slowly that, that is how they learn. How come I didn't get one of the rolls?
