Legos

The boys and their friends were very quiet for quite some time.  Now I know what it was they were doing.  I have a nice portfolio of it all!  I believe Kaden was the photographer.  (He needs the credit, right?!)  The only problem with Legos is I find them EVERYWHERE!  Oh and please excuse the marker on the table and wall.... that playroom needs a major overhaul!

Lovely Sunday

We have been loving having church start at 9:00 a.m.  Finally we have time to just enjoy Sundays.  On this particular one Cowboy Tye and I made chocolate chip cookies together.  He wore that hat for about an hour after church. He's been really into dressing up lately.... probably due to Halloween approaching.  (Rachel was the lovely photographer.)

I then delivered them to everyone reading outside.  It was a very pleasant autumn day so naturally we also went on a walk.  It wasn't one of our most harmonious walks ever.  I think the whole neighborhood could hear us coming! We all made it home alive.  That's all that usually matters in the end. :)

Beary Sleepy

If only I could bottle him up and keep him 5 years old forever!  He "bearly" had room for himself in bed that night.  Ha, ha.  I am going straight to Comedy Central!  My jokes are, like, not even corny. ;)

Apples

I had made applesauce and had more apples that I was trying to decide what I wanted to do with, but the kids ended up deciding for me!  They all ended up in the trash can since they got thrown out into the road at least 3 times and then thrown back into the box.  Those were some serious bruised apples.  Good thing I really like my kids and the neighbor kids. :)

Ouch!  A casualty of naughty apple throwing.  Don't worry Aimee, I gave him a hug and made sure he was okay. :)

Haley + a distracted mom = a BIG problem

Need I say more?  Yes, that's poop!  Luckily Haley moved the rug out of the way.  Pretty easy clean up considering the alternatives.  My dear Eliza, that sister of yours sure loves you!

Halloween Preview

For a family Friday date a couple weeks ago we took the kids out to dinner then afterward let them pick out costumes at the store.  When we got home they did a little Halloween preview fashion show for us......
Can you guess what they're going to be???

Flag Football

Kaden played flag football for the first time this fall and had a really great time.  He made several touchdowns and was very sad when the season was over.  He was on the same team as a couple of his good friends, too.  That always makes things more fun.  Can't wait for next year!

Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh, My!

Halloween just can't come soon enough for these kiddos!

New Header

Pretty much how I look in the header (and picture below) is how I feel.... a little cuckoo and a lot crazy about my fam! I love how Nate is staring at me like he can't believe how lucky he is to be married to me!!  And Kaden.... ahhh.... he must be my son.  Love it.  This is us.  And as Nate would say, "It is what it is."
